Terms of Service

GLOBAL LANGUAGE BREAKER (“GLB”) — operated under the NEXT BASE project name. Last updated: 2026-05-19.

1. Agreement

By accessing or using GLB (including any website, web app, or related interface that links to these Terms), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

GLB provides language assistance features such as dictionary lookup and machine-assisted translation routed through our infrastructure and/or third-party APIs. Output may be imperfect. GLB is not a certified legal, medical, or professional translation service.

3. Accounts, eligibility, and acceptable use

You may not use GLB to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, harass others, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
You are responsible for content you submit and for complying with export, sanctions, and local regulations applicable to you.

4. Travel Pass and payments

Paid AI features are offered as a Travel Pass through third-party checkout (Stripe on web; App Store on iOS). We do not store full payment card details on GLB servers. Pricing and taxes are shown at checkout.

Free use: Offline phrase cards in 13 languages (including airplane mode) are provided without payment.
Travel Pass (14.99 USD / 30 days): A one-time purchase for 30 days of AI-assisted translation. It does not auto-renew. When the period ends, AI access ends and free offline cards remain available. No cancellation step is required.

5. Fair use

Rate limits and usage caps may apply to paid AI routes to protect reliability and cost. Limits can change with updates.

6. Intellectual property

The GLB name, branding, UI, and associated materials are protected. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the service for personal or internal business purposes according to these Terms. You may not reverse engineer where prohibited by law or by applicable license terms of included components.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TRANSLATIONS MAY BE WRONG; VERIFY CRITICAL INFORMATION INDEPENDENTLY.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXT BASE AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR GLB IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF NONE, ZERO).

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
